This Sherwood CO2 Valve – CGA320 RPV 1.125″ -12 UNF is made from heavy-duty forged brass and is specifically designed for use with aluminum carbon dioxide cylinders. Common applications include beverage dispensing and welding. This CO2 valve has a CGA320 RPV valve outlet with a 1.125″ -12 UNF inlet and safety (burst disk).

An RPV valve protects cylinders from contamination by keeping a positive pressure inside the cylinder. Similar to a standard valve, but with a residual pressure unit that includes a spring, piston, and O-ring. Prevents back flow of contaminants and foreign substances and retains a small amount of gas inside the valve to maintain purity.
Used for compressed gases, such as CO2 in beverage cylinders.
Helps extend the life of the cylinder.
