15 cu ft. Aluminum Nitrogen Cylinder
New 15 cu ft. Aluminum Nitrogen Cylinder with a new CGA580 valve installed. This is our smallest size nitrogen tank and combines top performance with super-easy portability and storage. With the installed CGA580 valve this cylinder works for other inert gases too, including helium, argon, xenon, neon, nitrogen/CO2 mix, and more. This tank is excellent for tire inflation, welding, industrial, scientific, beverage, and other uses.
Please Note: All 15 cubic foot aluminum cylinders are produced in a DOT approved facility using CO2 bodies, and are stamped as such. However, these are valved with a standard CGA580 inert gas valve. Please confirm with your filler prior to purchase for any filling requirements on their end.
The aluminum cylinder is up to 40% lighter than the similar size in steel and is finished with an attractive and durable brushed exterior. Thick-walled construction for long-term use without fractures or leaks.
Nitrogen can be used in HVAC applications for purging refrigerant lines and completing scale-free brazing jobs. Inert gases can be used for purging refrigerant from tubing, flowing and preventing oxidation while brazing, and pressurizing a system for leak detection or a coolant / cooling system pressure test. You’ll also find nitrogen useful for getting oil out of the way before pulling a vacuum.
Overall, you can use nitrogen for applications where you’d usually use compressed air. Anytime you work with any kind of inert gas, you need a flow meter and regulator; as opposed to a standard gauge manifold.
